HOW DO I REQUEST THE DESIGN SERVICE?

 

Product design (personal cards, flyers, folding, posters):

 

You must make a request for each product you need, that is, if you need personal cards and flyers, you must make a request for each of them.

After finishing your order, that is, closing your purchase and requesting design service, you will receive an email with the Design Request Form We design it for you that you must fill out, in this form you must answer a series of key questions so that our designers know exactly your brand and the details you want to go in your piece. In the same way you have the option, in the same record to schedule an appointment with the designer.

You can request UP to THREE changes per request. You can request more changes, if required, worth U$XXX (each).

Logo design

If you want to request the design of the logo for your brand, the first thing you should do is schedule an appointment in We Design it for You, there you must fill out the registration form where you will be asked a series of questions about your brand or your business so that our designers can create the magic of your logo.

Once you have the first appointment with the designer you will receive a message with the amount to be paid, when the payment is registered in our portal our team will begin the design. And for this they will have 48 working hours. After this time, you will receive 2 or three different proposals, you must choose one.

When you have chosen the proposal you like the most, you can request UP to THREE changes per request. You can request more changes, if required, worth U$ XXXX (each).

 

Design of advertising piece for social networks

If you want to request the design of advertising pieces for your social networks, the first thing you should do is schedule an appointment in We design it for You, there you must fill out the registration form where you will be asked a series of questions about the advertising campaign or message that you want to upload to your networks for our designers to proceed to create your piece.

You must send your own logo in high resolution if it is an image at 300 dpi (Dots per inch) or in Vectors: in PDF or illustrator format.

You must send the texts that will go in your piece with the writing and spelling you want. The content must be clear and final in the design application; make sure of their wording and spelling.

What should you keep in mind when sending the file for design or printing?

When you finish your design, it is important that you consider some adjustments before sending to print, it is important to give value to these tips to avoid errors throughout the process; here are some recommendations for you to send your files the right way.

 

File formats: you should keep in mind that to send your files they must be in high resolution formats, AI (Illustrator), CDR (Coreldraw), ID (In design), PSD (Photoshop) and PDF.

 

Images: check that all the images are embedded in your design and that they are in CMYK color mode (color model that is used for printing, this is different from the RGB that is used by the screens). The resolutions suitable for offset printing is 300 dpi, we recommend using the printing service of a color test (Sherpa) if you have some doubts in your design.

 

Fonts: check that all the fonts or fonts that you used for your design, are converted to curves or that in the delivery of files are all the installation files of fonts included, remember that no typography must be less than 7pt so that it is visible at the time of making the printing.

Spelling and grammar: Use the spell checker and carefully check your design, it is very common to find faults once the work is finished, so you can avoid surprises and cost overruns in the printing service and finishes.

 

Margins: the files must be the same size as the final product plus a surplus of 5mm (Bleeding) on each side, remember also that you should not include images or important text after the cutting line, keeping a margin of 1cm on each side to avoid loss of information.

 

Black color: all black colors in the design to be printed must be 100%, not combined, i.e. CMY = 0% K = 100%

 

How long does it take for the design to be ready?

  • Once you submit your application, the process will take up to 48 business hours, at which point you will receive the designer’s proposal for changes or approval.
  • The requested changes are made within 48 business hours.
  • Until a final approval of the design is received from you, no printing will be made; therefore, the delivery time will count from the day and time you approve it through an e-amil.
  • The system will confirm the delivery time once the confirmation is received.

 

Our design service does NOT include:

  • Writing, creation or revision of texts and spelling. The content must be clear and final in the design application; make sure of their wording and spelling.
  • At BCPrint we respect copyright, we do not have image banks and we are not authorized to download images from search engines or other websites. We recommend sending photos and other resources in high resolution, licensed or owned .
